TypeScript is used extensively at Bloomberg, and we actively contribute back to the open source project. Not only improving the experience for Bloomberg engineers but for the whole community.This talk follows one such contribution that adds support for a new JavaScript feature that will be part of the ES2022 standard. Covering both the open source aspects of the work and compiler design.
